Description:Welcome to the new dawn of minesweeper.Mine Field Hex plays exactly like the classic game of minesweeper, except with modern upgrades that make this version more sustainable for the current generation. There are 4 separate board sizes to compete on, and each can be set to a difficulty of either easy, normal, or hard. The controls are extremely easy to learn (just tap a hexagon to take it out), and movements are extremely fluid - one thing many developers get wrong.
If you've never played minesweeper before, the concept is simple. Tread carefully across the minefield until you reveal numbers underneath a grid tile. Each number represents how many mines are sitting right next to that tile.
Use the information wisely, and strategically flag known mines and clear away known empty squares to finally reveal or flag the entire board.
Because this game is played on a hexagonal grid, every tile has 6 adjacent tiles requiring a new mental geometry to solve the puzzles.
You'll find many features including:
* Four different board sizes, and three different difficulties - That's 12 different boards to defeat.
* 10 high scores saved for every different board size and difficulty
* Sound that can be turned on or off
* Vibrations on mine explosions that can be turned on or off

If you like Minesweeper, you won't be disappointed in this game. The graphics are far better than the classic game, and having hexagons rather than squares to focus on is an interesting spin. It can get confusing though! I think my favorite part of this game is that when you lose a game, the iPhone vibrates and makes a quiet explosion sound. If you're a fan of classic computer games and want a little nostalgia in your life, this game is quite a find. It's beautifully put together, and a great time killer.
